My average weight continues to go down as I focus on my current system. Yay!
My average weight for April was 190.7lbs. Down 1.4lbs from the previous month. With a high weight of 195.6lbs and a low weight of 186.6lbs.
I fit in three extended fasts. A 47-hour fast, a 35-hour fast, and a 45-hour fast.
But I also spent a fair amount of time not fasting.
I caught Covid at the beginning of April. And unlike many people who lost weight when they got sick, I gained weight. Fortunately, it wasn’t a bad case and I recovered within a week.
At the end of the month, I was eating more and not fasting. I had an appointment to donate blood and I needed to increase my hemoglobin.
So…
Not much fasting at the beginning and end of the month.
But the system is working.
I still think the key to it is the mental part: deciding daily what I’m going to do to work towards my Marathon Weight. It keeps me focused.
May will bring more of the same. From Monday to Friday, I usually fast until 5pm. And consume food until 9pm. On the weekends, I don’t fast. But every morning I ask myself what I’m going to do today to reach my Marathon Weight.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
