My name is Peter Gruner and I am an emerging playwright.  I kind of hate that term because I feel a little long in the tooth to be called “emerging”, but it is an adequate description of my status as a playwright.  I am moving beyond the “dabbler” stage and focusing on the professional aspect.  Since I’ve already recieved payment for my writing, I gleefully call myself a professional; but I am still striving to acheive a professional production of one of my plays.  So, I soldier on…
