I was reminded today of how fun it is to sing in a choir.

I’ve had to take a hiatus from my choir (Vocal Point). Because I’m in a play and rehearsals are on the same nights as choir practice.

But today, we were singing at a Senior’s Residence, and I was able to take part.

So much fun.

And it was great seeing my fellow choristers.

It’s only been a couple of weeks since I started rehearsals for the play.

But it seems much longer.

It’s wonderful to sing in front of an audience. And to feel the energy of song take people away for a moment or two.

I’m invigorated to keep up my practicing. Even if it is on my own.

I’m not sure that I will be able to keep up and be ready for our concert in June. But I’m going to try!
