December’s Mile Marker

As expected, my weight went up at the end of December. It was worth it. Even in the pandemic, there was lots of food to celebrate with.

The funny thing is that I still managed to get my average weight down for the month!

My December average weight was 186 pounds. That’s down 1.6 pounds from November’s average weight. It was lower before the holiday consumption started but I’m still happy with the results.

Another milestone was that my weight got below 180 pounds for a day. The goal is well within grasp! Now, I have to get there again and stay there long enough to make it my average weight.

Like last month, I found having the monthly average adjusting in real time helpful to stay on track. I weigh myself daily but only track how my average weight for the month is going.

I expect to have a back and forth weight gain because I don’t use Intermittent Fasting every day. But the monthly average keeps me focused on the long range totals.

I’m expecting my January average weight to be higher than December’s average but we’ll see. Now that the holiday season is over, it’s time to get into my regular routines.
