This is my 185th post of the year. Whew! Just over halfway there to 365 posts.

Originally, I was shooting for a post a day. But I decided to do the average instead. To give me the opportunity to miss a day or two but catch up later.

It’s funny.

Choosing what to write about is still tricky sometimes. Especially if I’m writing my post in the evening.

But the actual writing has gotten much quicker.

Once I’ve decided what to write, I can get it typed out quickly.

And my editing process is faster now, as well.

After I write the first draft, I’ll copy and paste it into Hemingway Editor. I’ll evaluate the recommendations and make whatever edits I agree with.

Then, I’ll copy and paste it into Word. And see what suggestions it has.

Every now and then, neither Hemingway Editor nor Word have any editing recommendations!

Then I copy and paste it into WordPress and preview it. Reading it a few more times and making more edits.

After that, I plug it into Tag Crowd to see what tag recommendations there are.

And then it gets published.

Even after all that… Deb will catch a typo that managed to sneak through.

There’s always room for improvement.
