Burn opens in three and a half weeks. We’ve got ten more rehearsals to go.

It may seem like a lot, but it will go by quickly.

On the plus side, the actors know most of their lines. I’m the laggard in the cast.

But I’m nearly there. The lines are coming. Slowly.

There are a few “hiccup” parts that I’ll be focusing on to clean up.

After tonight, we’ll focus on doing runs of the play. Which is pretty good.

It will give us time to fine tune and polish our performance. And focus on the nuances of the parts.

It’s fun to work the play and see it come to life. I think the final product will be an entertaining show.

Fingers crossed, of course.

I don’t usually feel positive this early in the process. And there’s still lots of work to do.

It was a productive rehearsal tonight. I’m looking forward to getting this show ready for opening night.
