March 2024 Mile Marker

My weight for March continued in the right direction. But not as much as I had hoped.

My average weight for the month was 206.1lbs. Down 0.4lbs from last month. With a high weight of 208.8lbs and a low weight of 203.2lbs.

I relied more on the effects of my long distance running to help reduce my weight. And less on being consistent with the Glucose Goddess hacks that I’m trying. Or even getting consistent sleep.

I won’t have the long runs to rely on in April. So, we’ll see if that has a detrimental effect.

Losing weight is one of those things. I know what to do.

And I know what NOT to do.

Why don’t I do it?

I still ate late many times. I stayed up late watching TV.

And then the next day, when I was tired, I ate poorly.

I’ve said it before. Sleep is important for weight loss.

It’s a gateway hack for me, I think.

If I can go to bed by 11pm, I won’t stay up late. I won’t watch TV and be tempted to snack. I won’t go to bed with food in my stomach. I won’t wake up tired and sabotage my day.

And something else that contributes to me staying up late is writing these posts. So, if I can get them written earlier in the day, I’ll have one less reason to stay up.

Go to bed earlier.

It’s been my goal in previous months. But it will be my main goal this month.

Now, I need to figure out how to get myself to go to bed earlier. Simple but not easy!
