I’ve been waffling for months to get started on another playwriting project.
And I decided to revisit one of my old plays: Minced.
Minced is a one act play with two characters.
I always thought it could be expanded into a longer piece.
And taking a page from Great By Choice, I can consider it being a bullet that’s ready for a cannon ball. It’s been produced a couple of times. And has been well received.
So, I’m tinkering away with it.
I’m writing a few lines a day.
To get started.
Building some momentum.
I’m not sure where it’s going.
But that’s how I wrote the original version also.
I discovered the story as I wrote it.
It would be nice if I can get it to a full-length version.
It’s also nice to be writing regularly again.
Even if it’s only a little bit a day.
Slow and steady is always better than a whole lot of nothing.
Which is what I’ve been doing for a while now.
