Happy News!

We just found out that our son Keaton and his girlfriend Kate got married.

Yesterday!

Which is their eighth anniversary of being together.

They had planned to get married during their recent trip to Japan.

They had all the paperwork they needed.

But bureaucracy and scheduling got the better of them.

In the end they could have made it work, but at the expense of their travel plans.

So, they decided that getting married would have to wait.

Until yesterday…

We were pleasantly surprised to hear their good news!

They hope to have some sort of party later. When they can coordinate their schedules and both families.

We will celebrate sooner, though. When we see them in February.

It’s great news.
