Another Painting of Me

When I auditioned for Harvey a couple of years ago, I knew the play well.

And I remembered that there is a painting of Elwood and Harvey. It’s a plot point in the play.

So, I was keen to see the painting when I got cast in the show.

It excited me to have a portrait done. With Harvey, of course.

I was happy to keep the painting after the show.

When I auditioned for The Game’s Afoot, I didn’t realize that my character has a portrait as well.

But I found out after I got cast in the show.

So, now there’s another portrait of me in a play.

Crazy.

Someone asked me if I was going to keep it after the play.

I don’t think so…

Two portraits of myself? In my house?

Deb would be a little perturbed.

I take up enough room on my own.

And we don’t have enough wall space.

But it would be funny if I started accumulating portraits of myself from various plays.

Deb’s got to start doing some plays where she has a portrait painted.
