Can I let you in on a secret? Acting is fun.
I love it.
It’s all make believe.
Sometimes you play a serious character in a serious play.
Sometimes you play a silly character in a silly play.
Or maybe it’s a silly character in a serious play.
Or the other way around.
But it’s play!
It’s being a kid again!
Such a glorious feeling!
We open The Game’s Afoot next Friday, and I can hardly wait.
The most important ingredient of the show, the audience, will be joining us.
We’ll get to share the fun and see what lines make the audience laugh.
What antics make them giggle.
Comedies are so much fun to do because you get immediate feedback.
You can tell if the audience is enjoying themselves at a comedy.
This show is especially fun. Most of the characters in the play are actors and occasionally play other characters.
And my director wants me to chew up the scenery.
Which means I get to go all out and be big and silly.
Will it be too much?
Will it be enough?
You’ll have to come and see the show to decide for yourself.
It will fun, though.
