Fringe Friends

One of the best things about going to the Fringe is bumping into friends and acquaintances.

There’s always time for a quick catch up before the show starts.

Or an in-depth debrief over drinks after the show.

You can share what to go see.

What to avoid…

And commiserate on everything in between.

There’s even time to make new friends.

Strangers are often eager to know what shows other people recommend.

A couple struck up a conversation with me. They saw me congratulating some of the actors from a show that just finished.

We compared notes about what we’d seen and were still planning to see.

And then it was delightful to bump into them again at another show.

Some folks, it seems, I only run into at the Fringe. But that’s okay.

That’s what Fringe Friends are for!
