My daughter just got a car. A used car.
A friend of ours was selling their car. And Tara will need one for work.
The timing was good.
We’ve been juggling 2 cars with 3 people. Most of the time it’s fine.
But it was inconvenient every now and then.
Now, she will have real freedom. To boldly go… without having to confer to see if anyone else needs the car.
Reminds me of when I got my first car.
It was before I started going out with Deb. It was a boon to our early dating because Deb lived on the West Island, which was a bit of a hike to get to.
It’s funny how easily you get used to things and take them for granted.
Right now, at this moment, this car will a life saver. A game changer. Manna from the heavens.
And then it will be taken for granted. An expectation.
So, enjoy the freedom while it feels like freedom!
