You never know what the day will bring.
Yesterday, I saw a dead person. At least, I’m pretty sure they’re dead.
The Emergency Services Technicians were giving him CPR. But there was no response. And then they put him in an ambulance.
But the ambulance didn’t rush off. It stayed there for about 15 minutes.
And then it drove it off. Lights flashing but moving at regular speed.
I’m sure that person woke up thinking that yesterday was going to be a normal day.
I doubt he had any inkling that it would be his last morning when he got out of bed.
Most of us won’t know that day when it comes.
And it is coming. For all of us.
It’s good to be reminded that life is finite.
Not to be morbid. Or get preoccupied with it.
But it’s a fact.
So be kind when you can.
Forgive when you can.
Help when can.
