5-Year Plan Update #1

I’m grateful that I’ve been able to cross off my first item from my 5-Year Plan: Visit Keaton and Kate in BC.

Yay!

It was a great trip. And so much fun to be able to spend time with all three of our kids and Kate.

Without having to share them with their various in-laws, out-laws, cousins, and friends.

I was hoping to be able to cross off another item: See the Northern Lights. But the weather and Lights weren’t cooperative. Oh, well.

Maybe another trip to BC? Or maybe a trip to Iceland?

Still, it’s great to have one thing done. Just 29 more items to go.

Another goal should be accomplished in a few weeks when I run (walk?) the Around the Bay road race.

One of the best ways to get goals accomplished is to keep them top of mind.

My tendency is to set them and forget them. So, I want to do some periodic updates like this.

To make sure I’m working on at least one of the goals until I can get them all done.

Currently in my sights, besides Run the Around the Bay road race, is to get my weight down to 190lbs.

Slow and steady wins all kinds of races.

And in the meantime, I can bask in the memory of our recent trip.
