As soon as I hit publish on yesterday’s post, I was flooded with regret.
Why did I declare it? What was I thinking?
Publishing a post a day for a whole year??
I mean, I’ve thought of doing it for years. Of making the same commitment. But it’s so much.
And my previous attempts at smaller goals haven’t always succeeded.
Ugh.
Can I have a mulligan? A redo? A take back?
But one of the key strategies when making a large, long-term goal is to STOP thinking of the big picture. As soon as you make the goal.
Focus on the short term instead. From there on in…
Can I write 365 posts in year? Gulp… I’m not sure. That’s a lot. And it’s scary.
Can I write one post today? Yeah, I’m pretty sure I can do that.
What about tomorrow? Can I write a post tomorrow?
I’m not sure.
Ask me tomorrow.
