Just a little over two weeks before the big race.
And I haven’t gone for a run yet, this week…
But I did a thirty kilometer practice run last Saturday. So, I’m taking it a little easy.
I’ll go for a run tomorrow and Sunday.
At this point, I’m not going to push the distance anymore. Save it for the big day.
But I was pleasantly surprised that my training run last weekend was about 20 minutes faster than when I ran 30 km last year.
Of course, that doesn’t mean I’ll run that fast on race day.
There are so many variables that come into place. The weather. How you slept the night before. How you feel. What you ate.
But I know that I can run faster than last year.
What am I saying? I’ve already run faster than last year!
Even if I don’t do it on the big day, I’ve already done it.
Yeah. I feel like I’ve already won my personal race.
